Based in the beautiful Forest of Dean, Karin Whittaker of Karosa Jewellery offers exclusively designed jewellery with the individual in mind. Each unique item is hand-crafted with love and care; and many pieces reflect the stunning beauty of the natural landscape.
Reclaimed and Fairtrade metals are used in the making of every piece of Karosa Jewellery.
If you are looking for a totally unique gift, your idea can be made into reality using silver or gold. Either email your design ideas or visit for a consultation, which is free of charge and without any obligation to place an order.
You may have a beautiful stone which would look stunning in a complimentary setting, or an old piece of Jewellery in need of remodelling. Old broken gold rings can be melted down and cast into a completely new shape, such as an acorn.
When you have a special event to commemorate; when you are looking for that extraordinary gift with a personal edge to it, come for a consultation at the Karosa Jewellery studio. There is no obligation to order, and the whole process is free of charge. Usually a sketch is made for you within 48 hours, and any further work will then be charged for. Please don't hesitate to have a consultation - it might work out a lot less costly than you think!
Previous commission include pendants made with reference in the design to the local Forest of Dean, to incorporate leaves and acorns, a beautiful tree pendant, a logo for a local company, a bangle with meaningful words laser-engraved, sparkly earrings to compliment a wedding dress, a pair of studs inspired by a TV program to name only a few.
“Much of my inspiration comes from the surrounding forest as well as from ferns which seem to love my garden! Natural shapes and surfaces provide a never ending source of ideas for creating new pieces, which I develop using a variety of techniques to give different textures and finishes.” Karin
“Adornment is never anything except a reflection of the heart." Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel.
